New Program: Full Service Private Property Planting

In partnership with Tree Trust, The City of Mendota Heights is expanding their efforts to add tree canopy on private property through a full-service cost share program. Tree Trust plants, you just add water! Trees are available for $370 each (see discount options below) and include: 

  • A ring of natural shredded mulch will be installed around each tree
  • A watering bag will be installed around each tree
  • A trunk guard will be installed on each tree
  • Trees are in size 10 gallon containers
  • Utility locates submitted by Tree Trust 
  • All trees planted according to current industry standards

  • Trees will be watered by Tree Trust at the time of planting

    • Access to an exterior water source will be necessary at the time of planting

Additional Information:

The tree location shall be determined by the City of Mendota Heights as part of an on-site consultation with the resident

The resident will be supplied with a white flag or stake at the time of the consultation.  This flag will be used to mark the tree location prior to a utility locate.
